What happens to your photo
1 · Image processing
When you upload a photo it is analyzed in memory on our server to measure your proportions, and the result is returned in the same response. The photo is never written to a database and never saved to disk. Once the response has been sent there is no copy of it anywhere.
2 · What we store
Nothing about your photo. We do not keep the image you upload, the annotated version of it, your measurements or your result. There is no account, no upload history and no record to request or delete later, because none is created.
Earlier versions of this site held the annotated result for a short period so it could be shown on its own page. That is no longer the case, and the table those results were kept in has been removed.
3 · Anonymous result statistics
When the calculator shows a result, we count it in an anonymous aggregate statistic (for example, "X% of results this month were Hourglass") that we use for research such as body-shape distribution studies. Each count contains only the resulting shape category, a country-level location, the device type, and the hour it happened. It contains no measurements, no photo, no IP address, no cookie and no identifier of any kind, so it cannot be traced back to you. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track signal, we do not count your result at all.
4 · Cookies
We use essential cookies so the site works at all: CSRF protection and session management. Analytics cookies are only set with your consent.
5 · Third-party services

- Ezoic and Google AdSense, for advertising
